Ruto arrives at Uhuru Gardens to open Connected Africa Summit 2024

President William Ruto has arrived at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi for the Connected Africa Summit, 2024.

The President was received by Information Communication and Digital Economy CS Eliud Owalo.

He was then taken through exhibition booths for various technological innovations by organisations and students.

The Summit is attended by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, representatives from other African and European Countries, MPs, and business leaders among others.

The Summit is set to end on April 25, 2024.

The summit aims to underscore the relevance of the digital economy in driving economic growth and development.

It will provide an opportunity for African leaders, investors and businesses to come together and harness the vast opportunities presented by the digital economy while addressing barriers and pressing issues affecting our economies.

The summit also aims to promote greater collaboration and fuel investment towards the achievement of the Africa’s Digital Agenda 2063 and Vision 2030.
